Install

Open once, grant audio permission, reopen

  1. Download the ZIP and unzip it.
  2. Move Haptory.app to Applications, or open it from the unzipped folder.
  3. If macOS warns about the app, choose Open from Finder.
  4. Allow Screen & System Audio Recording for Haptory.
  5. Click Quit & Reopen, then start System Audio again.

Alpha privacy

Local-first by default

The alpha has no telemetry and no log upload path. Audio analysis and device control run on your Mac.

Cloudflare R2 stores release artifacts and the public release manifest. The app repository can stay private while the download stays public.
